Rules of Tennis Baseball
Tennis Baseball is easy to learn and quick to play. With minimal equipment and a few unique rule adaptations, the game captures the spirit of sandlot baseball while remaining accessible to players of all skill levels.

• Tennis Balls
• Small Barrel Little League Bats (30-inch max)
• 60 ft Bases
• Minimum 200-foot fences
• No Gloves
• Stats are kept

Unique Rules
PITCHER'S HAND
The Pitcher's Hand Rule is the only rule that usually surprises first-time players.

Because there is no first baseman, the pitcher acts as a substitute on force plays at first. After a ground ball, any fielder may throw the ball to the pitcher. If the pitcher secures the ball before the runner reaches first base, the batter is out.

The pitcher may move anywhere on the field to receive the throw before making the play.
​
Once a fly ball or pop-up has been caught, however, the pitcher no longer replaces first base. Any subsequent force play at first must be made by touching first base itself.
